I’m finally caught up on One Spring Night, which has been beautiful so far. But it looks like we’re heading into parental angst, and I can only hope it’s handled in a way that won’t make me rage-y this time. 🤞

I am already upset, people have been telling Jung-in’s father to calm the hell down and he JUST WILL NOT LISTEN.

    UGH!!!!!

On a different side, I like a lot of parents in this show, Ji-ho’s dad, the sisiters mom and even Ki-Seok’s dad. Obsiously Ji-ho’s mom is nice and I think she will be easy to approve of their relationship, and I think Ki-Seok’s dad knows what’s wrong with his son and knows that his son can never work out with Jung-in.
Just the only absurd person is Jung-in’s dad, he is so insensitive.

You’re right, the rest of the parents seem okay so far. I’m hoping that’ll keep things from getting too crazy. I just don’t want a repeat of that mom in Pretty Noona.

Remember in the 1st few eps he was in his office reading a get rich quick after retirement book. That ain’t good. That ain’t good at all.

Who is he doing this for? There is no one in his family that is pressuring him or unhappy with the life that they have. The sisters are adults and two of them are gainfully employed and living on their own. His wife is able to do the activities and social events that she wants without it being a financial issue or putting the family into debt and they have a lovely home that it more than likely paid off.

He is at the point of his life where he should be enjoying it and is not. That is kind of sad and he is hella selfish and he is going to do something stupid as a result.

If the position that Ki seok’s father offered him was not enough of a clue for him, I guess nothing else will change.

I can’t stand him. He’s so disrespectful and selfish! It seems like the women in the family are all rational, caring people, so hopefully they’ll stick together and won’t let him walk all over them.
