        I don’t mind at all!

Just so you know, I won’t have Internet access for three weeks starting mid-July. So, I can’t reply if you tag me during that time.

It really is just about power. Honestly, Nyang has no time for love, she’s just trying to survive 😀

Exactly! I was quite upset in the beginning thinking about how she doesn’t end up with Wang Yoo but that moron – which I would have to say is Ji Chan Wook’s worst work – but now I can see it is all about her surviving and taking revenge on the losses she has had. I want her to win!

I wanted to mention before that I blame Wang Yo – just didn’t want to spoil it for you. It really irked me that he was intimate with her and then just left her. I know he had important stuff to do and whatever, but I just see him as so useless. With the mindset of the times, how could he not think of the possibility that she would be pregnant! WHY would he do that and then leave her? Yeah I know she has survived on her own for her entire life and is quite capable. But again, back then, woman alone with a baby = most likely dead. Even now if people have unprotected sex, if a guy is half-decent there’s a follow-up.

YES! That was a shitty thing for him to do. His group of comrades did know though. and I am flabbergasted that it didn’t occur to them to let Wang Yoo know and get her out ASAP!

I can’t imagine the pain she must have felt from losing her child and I totally understand how that experience changed her completely. I am glad they are not focussing on romance and just on her need to exact revenge. Ugh I am enjoying it so much!

and what i hate it how come Wang Yoo’s people kept it hidden from him that SN was pregnant… i mean he would have done something at least instead of waiting ..
and leaving SN in yuan was the sin he committed and got the punishment to see her marrying someone else…..
*JJM’s acting was beyond any adjective in all such scenes*

I think nothing would have changed though. He was powerless to help his country, and powerless to help her. Both him and the emperor are powerless, which is why she just didn’t wait on anyone and took matters into her own hands. Her love for him became irrelevant. Why did she never confide in him? I think because she knew it would serve no purpose except to hurt him when he could do nothing. So she kept the pain to herself and took revenge by herself.

exactly thats all SN was doing from the childhood… and its all abt Survival Instinct no matter what going on in the world…
and i love how she is so determined to make a better goreyo for Wang Yu despite marrying the Emperor….
