This is the Korean branch of Unicorn, what control does KU group have over the company besides Song Ga-kyeong being from the family. I’m just wondering because the way her mother in law acts, & how the CEO(?) acts, you would think she owned the company

I think the mother in law hasn’t real power over Unicon, but only on Ga-gyeong, reminded her that her family went bankrupt, so she is the weak ring of KU and has to be grateful doing what the old lady orders.

I think KU Group in general is just powerful, and any business in Korea would pander to them. If she can get the president of the country do to her bidding with bribery, then Mother in Law is indeed very powerful. One of the ways is just demonstrated by the fact her daughter in law runs a very influential company. She did say she has the power to destroy Unicon if she wants.

As for the CEO of Unicon, honestly I don’t even know what she’s there for. Are CEOs usually just figureheads? Because she seems to do nothing and serve no purpose…
