I had a hard time understanding this firing = loving from DMI’s perspective. Luckily 1 comment from fellow youtuber enlightened me on DMI’s language :D.
From what I gathered, he is giving JGH what she wanted since she has been reluctant to sign off the permanent employment and after all, DMI also got the impression that JGH ‘hated’ him hence the continuous deception and lies.
Interesting take on firing = loving. It was the context of it though that puzzles… it was because he had lost trust in her as secretary, that she was fired. So it’s hard to see it as a means of doing her a favour. However, it’s true that he could have interpreted her behaviour as not liking him as much as he liked her, or worse, hating him … so firing her at last after she refused to renew the contract, might have seemed to him to be a good thing that he was doing for her.
I was thinking that over the days after he fired her, as his hurt wore away, he may have considered that it allowed for a fresh start, as well, after he forgave her. But since that is never shown to us, it’s just me making up my own fiction.
