Sky Castle ep 6. This is getting too tedious for me. I do like the satire. I also like how passive aggressive/aggressive MRS. Cha is becoming. I hate seeing the cut-throat competitiveness though.
I share your sentiments. One of the reasons I decided to not give up on it is because people have mentioned that the drama eventually shifts from the housewives to the students and honestly I want to see what goes down between them. Unfortunately this type of cut-throat competitiveness exists in the current world, especially in SK…
Maybe it’s also where I live and the fact my husband is a psychiatrist, but it’s ridiculous how they ignore these kids’ basic mental needs. No wonder they jump off buildings.
Yeah, from what I read mental health is a taboo subject in Korea and if what is portrayed in this show is somewhat the truth then it explains the high suicide rate among teenagers in Korea. Too much social pressure from peers (bullying) and from the parents. That’s cool that your husband is a psychiatrist, having someone to discuss subjects often portrayed in k-dramas must be interesting ^-^.

Isn’t it mindblowing that they require little kids to read and understand Plato and Nietzsche?😱

Not just that, but how parents don’t really care about the mental health of their kids; they are killing each other and their kids.
