i think MW was mainly noble… but also pretty reasonable.
it’s idiotic to break up unilaterally ‘for their own good’ for silly world reasons, but not so much if you are an immortal being who thinks is incapable of redemption and will likely be vanquished any moment… especially after the precedent of MW following her feelings destroying everyone she ever loved.

now i want CS to search the world for her and to convince her otherwise, but I also completely understand her reasoning and the choice to leave.
