I feel like she has done a few badass roles already – Oh Sunny in Last Empress was a boss (though it took a few episodes) and her character in I Remember You is one of my personal faves. I even think her characters in One More Happy Ending and Go Back Couple were pretty badass since they both took no shit from anyone. I especially loved her character in One More Happy Ending because for all she looked materialistic and superficial she was really strong and was not afraid to speak her mind or stand up for her clients and friends.

Jang Na-ra has a gift for making characters layered and strong and real which I love, and every performance of hers that I’ve seen seems to bring out an unexpected strength in her characters. She truly is one of the few actresses I’ll watch in almost anything because sometimes the performance seems cut and dry on paper but when she plays it, something new happens and its got a life of its own. I wasn’t sure about the premise of this drama but because of her I’ll likely at least check it out. (Though also a bit for Lee Sang-yoon and Lee Chung-ah.)
