    This is awesome news, I wish it were all 7 though. As much as I LOVE him….his solo stuff isn’t always great on first listen.

      Yeah, I’m not a big fan of his solo work either. Hopefully next time GOT7 comes to the US they can all go on together.
      I think it is a huge honor for Jackson though. I’m pretty sure he’s the first kpop/asian soloist to go on the show. Don’t quote me on that though because I don’t really keep track of everyone who goes on the show. I just know that previously BTS, Blackpink, and NCT were on the show and I haven’t heard of any soloists going on.

        Whether he’s the first or not it is a huge honor. I’m just too worried to enjoy it. What is he going to perform?! There are only so many songs that he has that I think you don’t have to be a dedicated fan to enjoy. And then there are the ones that are awful but the dedicated fans listen to them so much that we convince ourselves that they aren’t that bad. I wonder if he’s just.going to perform or if he’s going to do an interview as well? Jackson typically interviews really well and shows off that beautiful personality of his but I worry that he’d go in the opposite direction since he’s leaning into the fallacy that he has to suppress the lighthearted side of him in order to be taken seriously.

          Maybe he’ll do a new song? He’s supposed to come out with new music in September I think, so maybe he’ll do one of those songs. I hope he gets to interview too. It would be disappointing if he only got to perform. It seemed like he was doing a good job of balancing his funny and serious sides when he was here a few months ago so I think he’ll do fine in the interview.
          Which of his songs do you like the best?
          If he performs an old one, he might do Oxygen since that is his most recent release. I thought Oxygen was pretty decent although I don’t listen to it very much.

            Dawn of Us is still my favorite. Okay and Papillion are good. He has some amazing collabs out. Just about all of his collabs are good (except for Bruce Lee. That song is tragic) oxygen is a really good song. Oh, he was working on a performance piece with a dance group.. I’m blanking on their name. They have a YouTube video together, they won America’s best dance crew and always cover their faces and like ninjas…them. I need to look into what they were working on but he’s performed with them a few times and then it doesn’t even matter what he sings/raps the dancing is amazing. Oh, speaking of, on YouTube there are a handful of videos of him singing in performances sometimes collabs once or twice not and it was exceptionally beautiful. I’d love it if he did one of those songs (although I think they were covers) but still, his first releases have been my favorites. I can say unequivocally that faded and fendiman are my LEAST favorites

            I doubt he would do either Faded or Fendiman since the one was never officially released and the other was a CF song. Although he might wear Fendi on the show 😄
            I love his singing voice so much 💚 I think he said somewhere that he might do a singing song on his album. Maybe he will perform that on the Corden show.
            I saw that video with the ninja dance crew. It was awesome!
