That’s it? Pfff I’m not even surprised anymore 😂😂 We already have The Little Mermaid, The Princess and The Frog so a cicada doesn’t seem too out of place.

True. But in my defense, mermaids are not real, and the frog started out as a human, whereas a cicada taking the time to fall in love with a human during its very short life cycle seems a bit of a stretch.

You think that’s weird? This Japanese guy dated a cockroach. I can’t even bring myself to watch the video.

I’ve watched that video/interview. It’s…as weird as you’d expect. And more. I don’t thinkbi was able to finish it, I gave up when the interviewer asked him about sex or I may have wiped the memory from my mind.

I watched the interview a while back. I remember crying when I watched it… in disbelief and from laughter. I wasn’t as disturbed as I thought I’d be but just the amount of disturbed that didn’t put me off.
TBH, I’ve watched even weirder things on YouTube. The time I was last shocked was when I found out some people get turned on by the thought of eternal damnation and hellfire. It even has a name – STYGIOPHILIA. That’s another take on being religious 😂😂😂

I cannot believe I just went and watched that video. But for those who would like to know, he and Lisa (the cockroach) dated (platonically) for a year. Upon Lisa’s death, he “ate her in reverence,” so she now lives on in his heart.
