I haven’t heard this song in a dog’s age. It was a big crossover hit in 1976-77. I could almost swear that Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary fame, who co-produced the LP as well as co-wrote the song with Phillip Jarrell, is singing harmony on this track. All the credited backing singers are women, but it sure sounds like him harmonizing.
