For what it’s worth…

I’m likely going to be in the minority on this, but I’d say “very little”. I never doubted that he had feelings for MW. Nor that his betrayal was his attempt at saving her life. But it does not change the end result: his way of saving her life harmed her worse than even death could.

But what’s done is done… even knowing all that really happened in the past won’t help MW at this point. I only care that MW and CS find a path to a future that is worth living. Ideally one where the two of them can be together.

I’m agreeing with you. He actively acted to capture her gang and saving only her, after the fact – was him trying to justify his self serving actions.

It seems quite anticlimactic but we saw it coming. A redemption arc allows Man Wol to let go a lot easier. Now that Man Wol has dropped the grudge, only possible cause to face disintegration is the serial killer ghost harming Chan Sung.

I completely agree. If he knew her at all, he’d know that she’d never want the “life” he was offering her with his betrayal. “Saving” her was a selfish act done for his own benefit, not hers.
