    ????? You can’t just stop there…

    1. Is there anyone besides Yi Young who isn’t hiding something?

    2. Song Jae-rim is too thin. I want to feed him.

    3. Oh wait, the blind date guy seemed okay. I don’t think he was hiding a dark secret. But then again, it’s early yet. He’s probably a serial killer with a basement full of skeletons.

    4. I have my suspicions about the oboist. Reed knives are sharp.

    5. Anyone else think the Maestro and Kim Ian may have been more than friends?

    6. I’m still wondering if Yi Young wasn’t really Kim Ian’s girlfriend, but rather Jang yoon’s gf, and maybe he thought she might be cheating. I don’t know, it’s all very confusing.

    7. The timpanist continues to look very nice. I’m pretty sure by the end of the drama, it will either be revealed that he is also a serial killer, he will be killed by the aforementioned reed knife, or he will become a Yi Young groupie and cheer her on during her first performance with the orchestra.

    8. The music is good.

Thanks for sharing. I’m probably going to need more context to keep watching this drama, because “Jang Yoon” is creeping me out – may need to pause it until we get more info. Also, I now wonder if Kim Ian was either: 1. trying to save Yi-young from a kidnapper and got killed OR 2. was the person who kidnapped/assaulted her and that’s why his father cremated him without an autosopy & interfered with the police investigation.

Song Jae-rim is way too thin. Also, I see why mary likes him so much, I…might….also…

“Jang Yoon” is hella creepy at this point, and we need backstory and context soon. I find both your Kim Ian theories plausible. I’m also wondering how their father fits into all this, and I contend that there is some kind of connection with Yi Young’s childhood accident and either: 1. The dad was somehow involved and we may have some sort of noble idiocy situation coming up; or 2. Her family is hiding something sinister (I hope not), but they are on my suspicio-meter.

I mean, we know @mary is smart, so of course her taste is impeccable. But seriously, he looks like a strong breeze would blow him over. The mother in me is concerned.

Am I strange for not finding him that creepy…
I think we’re being misdirected about his creepiness level metre. I think he’s just a man on a mission to find out what happened to his brother so he throws normal social conventions out the window to make that happen.
Because he comes across as threatening whenever talking about Ian, but I think this is just a aforementioned misdirect, when he’s actually just earnestly seeking the truth and knows Yi Young won’t do direct confrontation well, hence the slow revealing of information. Not to mentioned he’s obviously effected by his father, his brother, the company politics, and being consumed by this for a year, so it’s not like he cares if he comes across badly to outsiders (us and her unnie or her ex). But then he finds himself caring for her a little too much anyway, calming her down in panic attacks, protecting her from the various people who keep breaking into her home, all supposedly in the name of finding out what happened to Ian, but maybe not just that, and then at the end of the latest episode revealing he doesn’t think a relationship is a good idea, it would be hard, because there’s too much other shit going on. Too bad she’s already fallen for him, and he’s too close already, because they’re still dysfunction as HECK.

That! Or its just written badly and his character writing is all over the place lol.

It’s a Kdrama and he’s the main lead so it’s very likely a misdirect. That’s why I want more context and information before I can watch it again, because I sure am creeped out.

That, it as you say, it’s badly written. Or maybe he just isn’t a good guy

He is thin but also hot, lol.
I found Jang Yoon less imminently creepy if that makes sense, but still creepy.
Last week I was leaning towards the Maestro and Ian Kim having a relationship and this week I’m leaning towards Maestro and Yi Young having had a relationship. So basically I’m still in the dark and guessing at everything.

#1. At first I thought ..hmm. If this was American, there’s a good chance we’re dealing with a masked femme fatale, which would be really more interesting
#3. The guys seemed really OFF … and his reappearance too.
#5. Seems to me they’re really implying “more than friends” … but could be a red herring. After all this is a kdrama.
#6. Lots of noir-ish possibilities… I think I’m in the mood for a NOIR…thoughts keep turning that way!
#8. Yes. Wish there was more. Even the training session with the lead timpanist was acoustically interesting!
