For Pete’s sake Viki. Sub Yong-jiu Grocery Store to at least 94% already, would you!? It seems like a genuinely good Taiwanese drama, and that’s a rare thing. Please!
There’s a shortage of volunteers at Viki lately, and for some reason (maybe licensing or just a simple glitch in their system), not all QCs have access to the full inventory of shows, even though they should, so then that has an impact on the subs and how fast it can be done 🙁
Yeah, if Viki doesn’t change their business model they are going to lose subscribers. No one wants to pay for crappy service. At least I don’t. I don’t blame the subbers, I would stop subbing too. Why would I help sub a drama that I can’t watch? What’s the use of a free subscription when most of the dramas are locked by region?
I really thought that since Kocowa was a Korean company the subs would be nuanced like on a Viki level but it’s bland like DramaFever. I would love Kocowa to have better subs.

I noticed that recently. Some shows are on a 2 day delay.

Viki. Seriously. I have no words–I do, but I shouldn’t. I mean, DramaFever had a friggin’ model that worked. It friggin’ worked.

Uhhh… It worked because it WAS WORK. People got paid at the Dramafever office to do the subs. Viki is a volunteers’ based and run site
