        Yay have fun!!! Quebec is magnificent in the fall. And then there’s us, probably snowing hard around that time 😅 Oh I love the different seasons at the same time in my country.

        I went to Quebec City pre-Goblin era. I don’t even remember much of it. Hope I get to visit it again.

        +++++
        Hope you had a great time @kethysk!

          I took a pic of THE mailbox and was soooo excited! I walked to ask the front desk and they’re like, “yes, it is THE mailbox” and I was sooo over the moon!

          (my husband is a very unwilling participant to this Goblin tour. He truly doesn’t get it. *sigh*)

            Exactly why I’m going alone. Well, that and Mr. Egads walks too slow, is too concerned about where the next meal is going to be, and doesn’t understand the fun in finding a good spot to just people watch. We travel best separately. Everyone is less stressed and happier.

            My husband was more than willing, but we also had friends with us so he was on his best behavior, lol!

            @egads, would your husbandbe interested in a foodie tour there? You can totally just go there only concerned with food and where your next meal will be!

            @ally-le, he might be. I would probably send him and daughter #1 to do the food tour. I’ll just grab a snack and happily wander the streets.

        Also, I hope you had fun. What have you liked the best?

          I really enjoyed how easy it was to walk around Quebec City. it’s really beautiful and walk-friendly, with so many historic sites and French-looking narrow streets and soooo many food places. I liked it a lot!

          A coworker had recommended I visit “Le monastère des augustines” – they apparently have really quaint renovated monastery-type rooms, and their essential oils smell fabulous!

            I actually considered staying at the Monastery, but they don’t have wifi (yikes) and I thought I would save that experience for when I come back with my sisters someday soon.

        hello Mme @egads , here’s my advise, after doing my little Goblin Self-Tour: MAP IT OUT before you start walking! Most of the sites were literally within 10 – 15 mins walk from each other but I didn’t plan things well and some times had to backtrack to find one or the other.
        I found this website VERY useful too, because she has real addresses:

        Can’t wait to read all about your experience in 6 weeks !
