Are you speaking of Mu Ci? The guy who wore the mask and was originally helping the Empress? If so they aren’t the same person. The actor who played Wen Chao has only played that single role.
I was ready to be surprised that I had totally missed that! I’m usually pretty good at spotting actors but my Mom seems to have a knack for either not recognizing actors or thinking they are totally different actors haha.

i realized this only now.. Wen Chao in untamed is the demon girl’s boyfriend/hubby who died in ashes in love.. no wonder the actor looked familiar
