Any Beanie recommend Doctor John? It seems to have a high rating on DB?

    The ratings actually here are not a measure of how good a show is. I guess if noone votes it shows as 5 too. But usually if people gave stars they gave it to the recap, now that feature is no longer in DB so I doubt these stars have any value at all. The only ratings here are in the ratings thread where Javabeans and Girlfriday have given their subjective and objective ratings for how they feel and think any particular show was. Even that hasn’t been revised since a while.

      Ohh I didn’t know that rating recaps was a thing. Hmmm but that would mean each recap had their own ratings? The current stars seem to be under the show so I assumed it was how much Beanies enjoyed it. It seems like if no one rated it, the show would have empty/no stars (just like my screenshot of Different Dreams). But then again the ratings we see are an average and we don’t get to know how many people rated a show. I used to really draw upon JB and GF’s opinions on shows. I do miss reading their ratings and posts. Hope we’ll get an update soon.

        Given that I dropped this show, I should not be saying much but I hated the far fetched ness of a plot which was not even a makjang and I hated the female lead, I totally hated her, everyone else seems to love her though, so maybe you should’nt mind me.

          It’s great to hear other Beanies take for shows. It helps me decide what to watch next 🙂 although I know that everyone has their own tastes and what they can tolerate but your comments are still very much appreciated. Thank you 😊

    Granted, I am very behind, but I like this one! It’s an acquired taste, for sure, since the fact that it mostly deals with rare illnesses and disorders means it’s very unrealistic, but I had a great time watching what I watched. I liked that it had a lot of important things to say about euthanasia, too, and of course Ji Sung and Lee Se-young are great.
