A while ago @sicarius asked people to post their stats when they got promoted. Guess she’s trying to figure out the promotion formula? Silly me, I haven’t gotten promoted since then but since the early days of the new site I’ve been collecting lots of stats that might help. See the reply.
And of course I’m posting this today because it’s on my mind after my rants under the post by KSKalways / kethysk below.
There had to be some major points for writing recaps and comments under the recap. That’s the only way to explain J and G who are not active on the site otherwise. For us less-than-minions, it requires a lot of commenting on recaps, upvotes and commenting in general. Also, how interactive your wall comments are. I think @pikalanapikake is so high because she writes literary theses on recaps she’s following. And she’s active (somewhat) on the fan wall with her song/music selections and general trivia. @sicarius has like a million upvotes that I’ll never be able to catch her. And she’s active on the fan wall as well, but I think recap interaction counts for more. I was promoted the fastest when I was commenting a lot on several recaps at once. I haven’t been commenting lately, although everything I’m watching has been recapped. I’m just not up to date watching, which limits my ability to interact on the recaps. -Sincerely, an Entertainer-in-training.
Recaps have always counted more, I figured that one out a while ago. And minions level up fast because getting an article published counts more too (hence why DB staff is highest). I have 20k comments but most of them are on the fanwall which is why I think Paka always beats me at these higher levels where recap interaction seems to be ever increasingly more important than other things.
