I thought knowing would make me immune to the abundance of heartbreak in this drama, but apparently it only made me hyper aware of all the little hints that cleverly peppered the show. I mean, Wei WuXian, you crazily loyal and devoted guy! Who told you to break my heart like this???

    For the record, I hardly rewatched dramas, the number of which I can count with one hand. Even if I do, I skip a lot. This drama however is one where my eyes are opened to more things and feeling even more during my rewatch.

        Be prepared.

        I have a stone heart. Not the type who easily weeps watching dramas unless it’s those involving parent and child – my Achilles heel as a parent myself.

        This stone heart was moved. Okay, that’s an understatement.
