Indeed! It was also nice to see him from the Rim who tried so hard to hold on to Haeryung saying she’s all the he has to this Rim who’s seeing things in a better perspective. I wasn’t very happy when Cha Eunwoo got cast for Rim but he dis the character justice.
This perfectly captures another role reversal in this drama. The worldly, well traveled adventurer was our heroine, and the one waiting in the castle was our fairy tale prince. The part that made it better than a fairy tale is that our hero and heroine had actual growth arcs, and became better people and better for each other.
Yessss. I love how they were really cool people to begin with but are obviously flawed. Time and time again, they were so sure of themselves, only to be given facts they never considered before. Instead of ignoring these new knowledge, they took those in and became better people. Both of them! So gooooood
Yes, they bring out the best in each other 😊
What I really like about Rim is that he never forces her to do anything and always respect her decisions. Even in the last ep when they kissed, he waited for her consent to kiss her further, and that bed scene, as obvious as he wanted it, he waited for Hae Ryung to initiate it 😄

His growth has been phenomenal in this drama. This was a beautiful scene. My eyes felt a bit wet.

I think he did very well. From an immature kid to a grown adult he really showed it in his acting. He picked this role wisely.

I LOVE this scene. (And the following non-freeze frame kiss, finally! 🙂)
He really has matured so much ever since he met Hae Ryung.

Interestingly, Hae-ryung learned a lot from him too~
