David Massengill’s searing “Great American Dream” with the composer on mountain dulcimer, and NYC folk fixtures sharing the lead vocals: Tom Intondi, Lucy Kaplansky, Lili Anel, and Joan Baez. With the fabulous Greenwich Village recording engineer and guitarist/bassist Mark Dann on standup bass.
This performance in 1985 reminds me very strongly of an audio recording of the 20th Anniversary bash at Gerdes Folk City in 1980, with some of the earlier personnel. One of my radio buddies gave me a dub off the board, IIRC.
