I always thought that it was kinda bittersweet that Wuxian had to say goodbye to Sizhui and Wen Ning by the end of the drama. They only managed to be reunited very recently, and yet Wuxian had to part ways again with his loyal friend Wen Ning and long-lost son Sizhui. Though I suspect that Wen Ning was secretly thrilled to finally stop being the awkward third-wheel in WangXian journey.
I mean, not only he had to hid himself from sober Wangji,
he also had to run away from adorably drunk Han Guang-jun
and tried to make himself invisible while WangXian exchanging super intense looks.
Good luck to your journey together, Ghost General and little A-Yuan. Hopefully you get to do many exhilarating night-hunt together and not anger Lan Qiren too much in the future.
Wen Ning is my favorite character after LZ and WXX. It pained me to think of what he went through but bless his heart, he’s not full of hatred and in fact, retained his sweet self.
I am rewatching eps 29 and my thoughts are on A-Yuan and how he grew up. I wasn’t expecting to be so emotional on my second watch on even the secondary characters.
I’ve finally reached the episode where WN recognises A-Yuan and was so happy that they had the chance to talk. Amazing what that simple scene did to my heart.
Yes, they plan to write a spin-off about Sizhui and Wen Ning’s adventure to find out the truth of their past. Though it’s still unclear whether the story will only focus on their journey after they parted ways with WangXian, or if it would also cover the times Sizhui spent on Burial Ground and Cloud Recesses in his younger days.
@strawberry it’s a two day concert in China. Tickets were sold out in 5 seconds. Supposedly the concert is available for streaming in the Tencent app for VIP members.

Me 2! The trailer looked so good! I forgot which is the 2nd one, but it’s been rumoured that ten cent filed for copyrights of more untamed related stuff.

Mine as well. Just the hell that the little puppy went through. Broke my heart. As I am re watching it, I get tears when I see him in happier times.
