    The more I look at it, the dumber it gets. There was so much potential for more explosions, more bullets, better and longer gun fights.

    I would have had the NIS team properly armed. It’s not hard getting body armor, weapons and ammo in that part of the world. Then I would have had a slightly more competent NIS team recognize the ambush, forcing the bad guys to trigger their trap early with lots of explosions (Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) are the preferred means of taking out vehicles). Since the almost smart actions of our team would cause the IEDs to miss, there would then be a longer running gunfight with automatic rifles on both sides, body armor on both sides, heroics on both sides as agents and assassins fall one by one to bullets, grenades, rockets, falling building fragments, etc.

    This scene could have been Jason Bourne level magnificent!

    Having said all that, what can I say other than that I enjoyed the boom and the flying bullets and the heroics. Sigh.

      Uuu..it would have been awesome if the NIS team were well aware of the ambush and were prepared for it. It would have made them appear more intelligent and the action would be more believable and magnificent.

      I enjoyed the mindless action in ep 8 though. It was exciting eventhough my mind kept trying to interfere and say they should all have died. Hahahaha!

            Dal Geon (the Monkey King) will wade through the chaos doing his thing while getting just enough scratches to justify some strategically placed cute bandaids. After all, he is a magical being – doesn’t need mortal weapons really except for show.

            Of course, if the writer really sets up a triangle with Hae-ri, then it’ll be fireworks time!

    Lol you guys make Vagabond seem fun. As long as I remember from the first episode, I dropped it because it was very heavy but seems like there is some silly stuff to balance that 😋

      An interesting game is to see if you can construct a scenario where everything we’ve seen turns out to be logical. For example, there is a third party behind the scenes trying to get J&M and Dynamics to perform an act of mutual destruction – which means one or more agents may be triple agents.

        Haeri is the ultimate big bad/boss who likes to get involved and get her job down hands-on. Her incompetent and ditzy behavior is only an act. She and Lily are part of a secret society of power women who controls the economy of the world (look what it got us all into). She is trying to take revenge for her father who died from injustice (of course, what else). That’s what Dal Geon discovered when he was alba-ing as sniper that Haeri is the Target mob boss. Now, what should Dal Geon do after that? 🤔

        Oh, and we will turn all the NIS agents and assassins into geniuses, so all of them is capable of performing remote surgery and design protective gears to explain why nobody ever die in this drama. Plus, they can one up each other in building better weapon of mass destruction to satisfy your desire to see more firework explosions.

          Yup. Vagabond (non-existence) logic. I think the reason might be monetary. All the $$ is going to car crashes and explosives that they can’t afford to hire more extras, so those guys need to dalgeon.
