Thanks for sharing this! It would be interesting to apply the same critical lens to dramas like SKY Castle. The very nature of PPL and TV production—with slick production values—gives weirdly mixed messages. Chaebols are cold-hearted but … look at their gorgeous homes, coats, phones, massage chairs, Louboutin shoes, and tiny skirts! Nothing like the love a dirt spoon protagonist to make things right in the world.
