Some thoughts to this week’s episodes of When Camellia Blooms…

For the past episodes, I did not really like Hyang Mi, I even hated her sometimes.

I did not like her decisions and actions.
I did not care about her manipulation with Gyu Tae nor with Jong Ryeol
But I hate her for using Dongbaek and Pil gu as a threat to Jong Ryeol, because their quiet life will be affected when the secret will be revealed.

But this week I sympathize with her. I even cried for her plight. She made bad decisions in her life that led to the kind of life she’s living now and we can blame her for that, but still. It is sad. That on her last hour I just want people to give her the money she needed desperately, even though she’s getting it through questionable means. She broke my heart.

Same with Jessica, I did not like her whining and her pretentiousness, but she also broke my heart when she asked who will she be without the title she put her worth on. I pray she find it.

This week’s episode reminded me to never judged the person so hurriedly based on what they let you see or what your perceived them to be. That there’s always a reason why people act the way they do. To see the person in our common humanity, fragile, broken but strong enough to face another day.

So, stay strong to all of us fragile and broken humans.

Props to When the Camelia Blooms for making me feel for a character that I had pretty much decided I wouldn’t care about. In the end, I really felt for Hyang Mi and she deserved better than those miserable last 24 hours.

exactly. her last 24 breathing were just her desperately hanging in there.
