    Eeeeeeeps!!!!! WishfulToki!!!! 😍😍😍 That gif wasn’t even from Episode 25!!!! Lololol. Wait till you get there, I think that’s from ep 31! Lmao, it gets harder to put him in a gif or screencap, it’s not enough 😭

    Episode 23 is one of my favourites!!! I love him too much!! I honestly don’t know to this day how I got passed ep 23. I replayed it nonstop if my memory serves me right.

    Anyways ep 23 – I rewatched this I think a couple of nights ago with Viki’s timed comments on. I usually disable them cuz they are distracting, but turned them on and cracked up from watching both the episodes and reading viki times comments! 😂😂 I’m crazy too. Gu Yanzhen’s fault; his craziness is contagious!

      Nitpicking on Viki’s subs – I think they used and uploaded iQiYi’s subs that’s why the formatting is a little messed up in the later episodes. I hope they fixed this ASAP. They’re distracting having those unnecessary special characters instead of apostrophes.

            Huehehhe for the record, I do love all the characters. Yes even Xianrong 😵😵 well maybe just “like” cuz she’s not too nice, but she’s layered, and my heart is very soft for this show.. augh.

            I had lots of second lead syndrome in the earlier episodes. It wasn’t until maybe the middle to the later part of the drama I started getting over that. As the characters developed more I realized that Gu Yan Zheng is the better choice for Xie Xiang.

            Hopefully this weekend will give me more time to gif some and contribute on the Gu Yanzhen appreciation posts!       I have to say I’m becoming quite a fan of Junshan’s cool older brother, who looks like a Korean Hyun Bin.

        Yes lmao and how he requested the server to play him sad love songs that he created titles of!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣 Poor server, he’s just doing his job but had to tend a very heart broken Yanzhen and put up with his crazy songs request.

        When the students said he sounds like Junshan in the hallway, his happy face killed me. I cannot with him.

        Huehhehehehe halfmoon and blue said exactly the same thing about Shen Tingbai!!!! Indeed he’s very cool and doesn’t go alpha on Manting. I really respect him for respecting her and gaaaah his love is too pure too.

          At first I thought Shen Tingbai would be that annoying possessive bad guy. But ended up loving him. He was willing to let Manting be who she wanted to be and hurt himself as long as she was happy. He didn’t try to control or possess her, just quietly looked out for her, which makes him super sexy.

            Yessss! I thought he’d turn out to be a bad guy because he looks scary when he gets mad, but he’s been nothing but respectful of Manting. I understand that she felt smothered by his attention and wants to be independent, so I cheered when he said that pursuing her would only scare her away. I hope he wins her affection in the end, but I’m prepared for heartbreak. C-dramas do that to me.

        I swear I was only looking for gifs related to the funny shower scene. More precisely the smile Gu Yanzhen had at the end. And somehow, I stumbled upon a pic of Xu Kai on a runaway, in socks and swimming wear. But then, there was no one else online on the discord channel for me to share it with.

      I’m just mesmerised by Yanzhen’s craziness, Junshan’s stoic aloofness, the reactions of his sidekick Ji (?), Shen Tingbai’s awesomeness, Huang Song puppy’S smile, Handsome Lieutenant’s speeches… oh and the ladies, especially crazy Manting. I’m not such a fan of Xia Xiang’s friend, mainly because when they’re together they act very girly and I’m wriggling nervously in my seat. It’s impressive that she’s been able to keep most people from finding out LOL

    Gotta love how he is soooo shameless and doesn’t care at all while expressing his adoration for her while the poor girl would hide in that food can if possible to avoid the rest of her friends looking at them and murmuring jajja Boy was pure absurdity and passion and Xiu Kai played him sooo charmingly!
