    Because I always wondered /why/ we needed that storyline in the first place, as it did not really move the plot along. It just served as filler at the time.

    BUT if they explained it this way, it would look like something happened to Haru and he drowned. But no one knew about it because Dan Oh, who was the only aware person in the room (didnt notice Do Hwa and Kyung at the time) who’d remember it, was unconscious. This way this new plot line wouldn’t feel too last-minute in the long run because they already provided the set up – we just didn’t know about it yet.

      Someone actually wrote about it when the episode aired… It could make sense and I hope they explain it this way..
      though it makes me wonder how can he drown. I mean.. the guy is 2m tall 😂😅

        OR when he got out of the water, he slipped and hit his head on the floor causing an aneurism that lead to his death. 🤣🤣🤣

      I hope this is true. It would totally make sense cause honestly Haru’s amnesia didn’t serve any purpose.
