I’m not usually a fan of period dramas unless it involves a love story, much less of political ones. But while searching for a certain drama to watch, I once came across Nirvana in Fire which was highly recommended. So, without knowing it, I pressed play, until I found myself watching till midnight. And in just a week, I binged the whole 54 episodes without skipping. It was that amazing and interesting that I can’t sleep well until I was done with it.

This story was beautiful. I love every part of it. And though the love story was not the center of the story, it was still one the best portrayal of what love is. And this scene at the end made me cry and broke my heart. And their smile at the end is of sad acceptance of their fate. And also a promise that in their next chance in life, they will love as much as they want.

This is one of my favorite dramas, and I love everyone in this (yes, even the despicable king).

How can you be so full of love that you even loved the despicable king? I just pitied him, that’s all. No love for him.

Hahaha. I mean I love the actor’s acting and yes, I pitied him. But isn’t pity also comes from love? 😉
