Watching this reminds me of that one time I had a dream in fluent Korean and yet I’m not even bilingual.

From their background, it’s natural that they are so at ease in a specific language and that they have ones more confortable to use for certain situations (English when you’re fighting is really great to tell directly what you want).

I don’t know if it’s because I’m not an English speaker, but their experience with languages doesn’t shock me.

It doesn’t shock me either lol? Idk… did it shock some people?

I guess a lot of their fans are impressed by it, but that’s understandable; trilingualism is nothing to be sneezed at.

Yeah there are people who find it insanely awesome haha. Maybe they represent a group of people who only speak and understand one language.

I believe coming from a multicultural background and trying their best to keep a good level in all languages while staying in one country is the most interesting part.

Most of the English speaking world is only monolingual.
And growing up in a country where there wasn’t a lot of opportunity to become bilingual, which was really frustrating for me as someone who loves languages and thinks bilingualism should be compulsory world wide, I understand them getting excited about it.
To me being able to converse in two or more languages, now matter how good or bad, or even norm it is elsewhere, is worthy of respect, since not everyone has the opportunity to get there.

Especially if, as you say, they try and maintain their level of fluency in those languages, because it’s so easy to loose.

But yeah they lead very fascinating lives and come from really interesting backgrounds.
