    I rarely watched donghua, but this one tempted me. The art is so pretty, even though it’s really different from the manhua. I felt like I can ascend to heaven too when Xie Lian smiled that beautiful smile of his.

      Yea.. Xie lian looked so sweet and mild in it and I love the contrast of all the feats he accomplishes in the book…. It’s gonna look awesome in the donghua..

    trailer is also out of the animation
    and drama rights have been bought by tencent.. but anime is planned for 2021..
    so drama is going to take more time.. earliest 2022

    Ya, I’m excited! I didn’t watch The Untamed donghua but I’ll probably watch this one!

    And I had heard the drama was already licensed, but not heard much more then that. So it will probably be awhile before the drama is done. I just hope they do as good of a job adapting from the novel to the drama as The Untamed did. I feel like HOB will be easier to adapt while avoiding the censors as there aren’t as many red flags in HOB. I also hope they get the perfect actors for Xie Lian and Hua Cheng.
