Whatever one may say about Chinese Star News, he does give us news in English, with details. This time it’s a translation of XZ’s interview with Vogue Magazine. Sooo interesting … makes me feel for him all over again!

Heh! I only post the ones I like. This YouTuber is very prolific! I find Chinese Star News is concentrating a lot on Xiao Zhan, so I end up watching a lot of his vids … or maybe I’m not getting ‘alerts’ on other news that he posts, or he’s going for who is most popular now, (maybe), so he does not bother with other news for the time being?

Well, duh…whatever is most popular and will get the most views, hence the most ads, hence the most money made, hence a bit of capitalism there. Smart move.
That’s why I like him – otherwise, he isn’t that appealing, right? More power to him.

Chinese government cracked down and shut down loads of celebrity gossip/news sites a couple years ago citing privacy and bad influence on social norms concerns.

The guy/gal can try starting a WeChat group pushing celeb gossip/news. Chances are he/she won’t last long. All Chinese social media platforms self-censors a great deal. People know this so many use this to report hearsay, rumors and “unacceptable” content to remove they don’t like or want out. Unless, they become part of the publicity cybertrooper for the celebs. Then, of course, only their employers approved content will be posted. No truth or objectivity involved.

D’awww. I am happy he has gotten fame and success. He is such an earnest, kind and hardworking man who deserves the success he has found.

I can feel his pain as WWX. his character had a really tough time.

If we can feel his pain just watching remotely, I wonder how much more he must have felt it while taking on the role for months, having to discuss it, think it through and bring it to life. I take my hat off to all actors for being able to convincingly portray, at length, all kinds of tragic characters and be able to walk away from their roles. They would probably need a time to let go and ‘heal’ even from the emotional investment that they had to make.

Well, we were just saying that Chinese Star News is very on the ball with XZ news. Well it’s one way to earn some money. Here he’s hoping to start a WeChat group with his followers so that he can push more stuff out and give another means for people to talk about the celebrities. Good to know that he’s ‘making a little profit’ from YT to pay his bills!! He gives his WeChat account in the link.
