I had a crying session on my bedroom floor just now but all is well. Life is boring and lonely when I’m on summer vacation (Southern Hemisphere logic), live thousands of miles away from my family, don’t have enough money to go on a holiday trip and got rejected/pending on part time job applications. All I have to keep me company is The Lord of the Rings novel.
Think about what you could do around you. Just a tiny thing can be enjoyable and doing something you wanted to do way a while ago can be a good way to spend time and not think about sad and depressing things. Reading The Lord of The Rings is great, finding an other hobby to do alone would be great. I’m from the Southern hemisphere too and I used to wander around a lot during summer and walk just anywhere to discover some places I didn’t know. Hang in there because your life can take an unexpected turn at any moment.
Hwaiting!
When I’m going through a rough patch, I like to think that it’s because something good is about to happen! The best is yet to come kinda logic… idk if that helps.

Hang in there. Use escapism for things that are not in our control anyway, films, dramas, novels always help.
