this drama has major pacing issues. Some of the major plot points (FL lost on a mountain in the dark, death, attempted murder, assault, death) of episode 8 could have taken place in episode 9, or 10, or maybe 11, and thus given viewers a bit more time to, you know, digest what was happening.
Anyways, one of my least favorite things dramas do, besides everyone’s favorite wrist grab, is the use of incessant flashbacks. Especially flashbacks of things that literally happened a minute or so ago. They keep doing this in Chocolate, and it is driving me up a f***ing wall.
No, I don’t know why I keep watching this show. (well, I do kind of know, but well, sometimes you just need to torture yourself.
Tomorrow’s Saturday. That means No Second Chances day, and that makes me happy. (Maybe we’ll get another stroller driving lesson.)
9 felt like it could be a turning point. I’m trying not to get my hopes up that we are entering the healing phase. With this drama I’m almost worried that in the last minute our heroine will fall into the sea or something.
I have a feeling a very major character is going to die. My hope is that Grandma gets flattened by TOD because she is one of the most evil characters I have ever encountered. The way they calmly ate dinner while Kang’s mother was buried in the rubble of that building was unspeakably horrible. No wonder Kang and Jun are so broken. Anyways, I hope the major death won’t be Cha-young, Kang, or Jun, but this writer is liable to do just about anything.
If it’s really going to be a healing drama the two stupid men need to realize that working together might be better than always competing, but I just don’t see this writer doing anything that makes that much sense. I predict our cook, Seon Ae, will die. It wouldn’t bother me to see the little brother go too (am I a bad person?).
I want the new and sort of improved ToD from Crash Landing to visit Grandma.
These two remind me of SeonHo and Hwi minus the sword 😬 really just useless waste of energy 😕 also can’t they give Joon more substantial plot line? His acting chops are more than capable.
I hate Grandbitch so much I want to strangle… I want someone to strangle… I want her to just die. And it’s rare for me to feel that strongly about a villian.

Chocolate episode 9 was much better than episode 8, but….

Out of all the tragic scenes in this show that was one of the worst. I hated watching it.

IT WAS HORRIBLE. That woman is beyond evil. I think the devil watched this episode and hopes Kang will make her life a living hell.

Grandma, little brother, aunt, and uncle can all go. That gives the writer tragedies (or celebrations) for the next 4 shows.
