This show was sooooo good and seems ahead of it’s time and it seemed to be the turning point for kdramas and the writing of the characters, especially the female ones.
One of my favorite Ae-Ra scenes (she’s one of my ALL TIME favorite drama characters) is when she tells the interviewing committee that they–and she–both know that they aren’t hiring her. They can choose to not hire her. But she gets to choose how much they hurt her. And thats enough. And she leaves. My GOSH. I love her.
