I made many many Shut Up: Flower Boy Band gifs over the weekend. And by that I mean I made many many Byung-hee gifs over the weekend. @ayaan told me to post one every day of the month, so that’s what I’m doing.

This was my 4th time watching the first 2 episodes! Lol. I’ve only seen it the whole way through once.
It’s funny, this is actually my first time truly appreciating Byung-hee as a character. The first time I didn’t know Lee Min-ki but knew his character died and while his screen presence impressed me, I wasn’t too bothered when he died (gasp!). The second time was during BTLIOF and I was watching it purely for his electrifying performance, but again, for some reason the character himself never grabbed me. The third time was with you guys and my main thoughts were “Byung-hee’s a weirdo with no sense of personal space”.
This time, though… Oh my god. I didn’t ask to have these feelings 4 years after watching it for the first time oh my god I could write an essay about Byung-hee and some day soon I will. But it won’t be as good as @leetennant‘s.
Lol that happens to me with kpop songs more since really I rarely rewatch kdramas.
I really reeeeeally recommend the entire thing though! LMK’s performance does give the rest of the show the grounding it needs to believe that the rest of the boys would be so affected by his death but the rest do such a great job at showing a coming of age story amidst grief with one of the most solid endings ever for a kdrama.

You should!! It’s one of my faves and remains the only drama I’ve finished in 24 hrs!
