Best Rom Com: Queen In Hyunโs Man
Kim Boong-do might still be my favorite ML character ever and whatโs not to love about this intelligent and soft-spoken hero who would do anything to be together with our heroine? What surprised me more though was how much I also love the ditzy Hee-jin who is the smartest woman at finding excuses for kisses! 😘😘😘😘😘
In addition to all the squee inducing moments, QIHM is the only drama which made me burst into tears the moment the hero finally gave up all hopes. I still consider his letter to her travelling through milleniums as one of the most moving love letters on par with Captain Wentworth’s letter to Anne Elliot in Jane Austen’s Persuasion.
I loved this drama too; it was very daring in its sexy skinship for the time!
For me, nothing quite beats the RomCom of “Her Private Life” (very mature communicative couple) and “Healer” (ride-or-die power couple).

For sure @kethysk! It was daringly sexy for its time, and also for the time it was rare to have such a nice (ie not mean) male lead!! That is a huge feat and perhaps a turning point/signifier in Dramaland.

Same here, @delsatu and @infinitize! Rewatching this show still makes me giddy as well as tearing up in the end. *sighs with contentment

Will they be for one person or many, @rueffie, if you don’t mind me asking? 😉
