My advice will be very different from what you’re expecting and I’m sorry if it’s not helpful. My school had a very “study this” approach and by the end of 4 years I thought I hardly knew anything. On the other hand a few students in my class branched out, they involved themself in creating creative work outside school while scoring low in school and now they are well aware of using the camera and creating videos. So here’s my advice, you learn creative work by actually doing it rather than reading or studying it. Youtube can be your best guide. Also no film school has some short courses (some also free) . A few teachers would also recommend taking Master Class courses which are by a few good directors, writer, actors etc. So if you want to learn filmmaking to practically do it, doing the latter comes first.

thanks for your suggestions and for sure i am not replacing doing with only reading but what i want to know is what i should refer as basics of fps, shot selection, camera movement and when to use which etc….
so that when i go on doing the things i should have information what i am doing n why….
i hav taken many Linkedin learning course, watched sooooo many YouTube videos already but no one channel has complete information that i need at one place instead of roaming all YouTube to find… though i hv learned photography n editing by YouTube and blogs and i know its helpful but it takes up a lot of time to search what exactly you need so i was looking for some books recommendations.
