In the first half, I was getting tired (=P) of the female lead’s problem. It is crucial for her to be alert and focused during her job. Seeing her fall asleep in random places was not funny. The quirky little sound effects didn’t help either. She needed to wake up literally and figuratively. So when she was working in the ER, it was awesome to see her quickly and accurately saving the patient. She stepped up in multiple ways during the second half.
I think Eun Jae’s character story would have better if we got to see how much her mother wanted or needed her to become a doctor. Were they struggling at home? Was her mother just such a force that Eun Jae didn’t want to disappoint her?

RDTK2 Episode 4 –
