A huge apology to my Beanie chingus who invited me to (re) watch Heirs with them. I saw it ages ago. Back at a time when I didn’t know any better. I regret watching it. I really do.

All that I remember is Kim Tan (yes, I remember the character name!) slapping a mountain of foundation on his face and crying for his lady love (who as you all know cries a lot too and absolutely detests kissing him back)

That is true though. He wasn’t as tan in any of his shows as he was in Heirs but his complexion has remained the same since then so I guess that he used too much foundation earlier.

I blame the makeup artists, to be fair.
then again, didn’t he have a mirror?

and yet again, I remember wearing some TERRIBLE makeup when I was between 19 – 22 years old.

I feel the same way. Such a terrible drama, I watched it because it was one of my first dramas and for some reason it is really high rated, when it shouldn’t. The ML bullies the FL who clearly doesn’t like to be kissed or be near him. It’s not love, call it whatever you want. And both of them are as beautiful as unexpressive.
Had it been now I wouldn’t have finished the first episode.

Exactly! I was a newbie drama watcher too back then so I watched it because of a ratings and like I said I didn’t know any better.

I think this is the first drama that taught me how healthy it is to drop a bad drama. I remembered choosing the delightfully makjang Secret over this, and that was one decision I never regretted. 4 eps of Heirs is more than enough to scarred me for life.

Oh is that secret with Ji sung? That drama was great, I could have strangled the second lead.
Maybe that is why I didn’t watch heirs the first time around!

For me it was Marriage not Dating. I loathed it. And people LOVED it! MND taught me that it was okay to hate what others loved 😬

This is terrifying, did he put foundation on his lips too?

The kissing scenes were horrible. She would visibly shake. Ugh!

I dropped this drama early on. Could not watch. And this is the me who watched pretty much everything at that time.

Thanks for tagging me, but I am not doing the rewatch thingy. Once is too much already. I just read beanies great comments and occasionally chime in in recaps. Fighting, beanies!

The make up artist probably misunderstood that we need to see Tan in Kim Tan just like Tan thinks he is thinking when he writes his poetry.
