I’m usually a patient and calm person… But this is just too much even for me!

Why can’t we just donate money instead of those snack boxes?

    I have ad-blocker so I don’t get the ads, but the site has been soooo slow and faulty these days. It keeps timing out or disconnecting. The reply and like buttons don’t click unless I refresh the page once or twice, which with the constant timing out makes it not worthwhile. The page keeps jumping up and down resulting in me clicking on something and having something else clicked. Commenting has become a chore. And lots of other problems….

    Honestly, I’m not sure that it needs donations to run. My, very uninformed opinion, is that whoever took over the blog did it because of how popular it was and thought there must be a way to make revenue from it beyond just having ad space.

      I’m pretty sure it was losing money, or at least not making enough to cover JB & GF’s living expenses, which is almost the same thing.
      Then the new owner had ideas to make it profitable, which so far haven’t panned out (??)

        I’d have to re read the post by JB on her leaving and the one that asked for us to buy the boxes as I cant remember the wording.
        I’m not sure all the ways blogs make money besides affiliated links, ads, and sponsored posts. I doubt I will looks into it.
        I guess I’ve seen popular blogs shut down, but mostly because of lack of time or interest to run it. Then there are popular blogs that I haven’t seen ask for money, but maybe because they do not have extra staff.
