Crash Landing has filmed for months before it aired. I am quite confused how the cast can be overworked considering filming started early. SYJ was sent to the hospital recently due to overwork.
Cameras always begin rolling 3-4 months ahead of its airing schedule of Kdramas, but (Production woes and) drama behind the dramaโwhether itโs reported is a different issue- always happens and advance shooting always turns into live-shooting at some point…
it was like that for โMy Countryโ… It was touted as a drama that was aiming to be fully preโproduced, but they filmed and filmed and filmed for 7 months and still ended up in live shoots for the last 2 weeks of the airing of the drama, I believe
The episodes are usually 1 and half hours long, thats like one movie length and there is so much work to be put into making 16 movies with the intention you want to show… they are doing a good job at it in production but to get 1 and half hour long footage means you have to shoot a lot lot of footage, most of it will be edited out and there will be many retakes, no doubt she is overworked…

It might be because of under-eating and malnutrition + stress
