“What does your heart say?” I ask my 1 year old as I put his pajamas on.
He knows the answer; he’s been saying it for days, and I think it’s the funniest thing. He’ll pat his chest, right where his heart is, and say, “Boom, boom” super triumphantly.

So I ask him, “What does your heart say?”
He grins, taps his chest, and his eyes light up: “Boom, boom!” he shouts.

And then, he adds something extra, something new:
“Boom, boom–
ROAR!”

Out of the mouth of babes.
