I was watching Delicious Rendezvous ep 10 on this chilly winter day. Baek Jong Won and Dong Jun visited with a farmer in the Gujwa region of Jeju Island where carrots are grown. Wanting to promote local produce, Bake Jong Won and his team, Dong Jun, Hee Chul, and Se Hyeong developed carrot recipes. One was a carrot porridge that looked so warming and good. And it wasn’t difficult. So I went downstairs, boiled some carrots, pureed them, added milk (instead of rice thickening), salt, and pepper, and boiled it all for about 15 minutes. Then I added some gingerroot for tang. The whole process took about 25 minutes. Tada! Here’s my version 😊

Tasty, and a good way to eat veggies! I don’t particularly like carrots but this was creamy good. The ginger really perks up the flavor, too.

Looks yum.
I tried BJW’s bulgogi ‘hotdog’ – although I used a pita instead. Yummy nonetheless.
