links

You know what I love? Good blogs. (Good means any/all of the following things: good writing, whether funny, literate, interesting, entertaining, witty; good content, hopefully frequently updated; a point of view and some attitude, because who prefers bland over sassy?; a solid sense of its identity and purpose; and good editorial range, displaying some breadth of knowledge but not so scattered about in every direction as to seem schizo.)

I’ve gotten quite a lot of requests for link exchanges. I’ve always felt those were an awkward practice, so I’m not in the habit of doing them. (It feels very “I’ll link to you only if you link to me first.” I’d rather you link to me freely — or not, that’s cool too — just as I’d like my freedom to link.)

    hii, I was wondering if you know of the tittle of this one drama that had this one little girl in it and she had AIDS and she alone with her mom and grandpa and her grandpa was sick i suppoe? Thanks!

    Beng, there are two different ratings measuring systems, but here’s the link to TNS Media’s weekly numbers. http://www.tnsmk.co.kr/ Looking very briefly at the site, it gives numbers to shows just inside the top 20.

    krnloop.wordpress.com is very useful for translated entertainment news. Although it’s still low-key right now, I check it often :)
