Is there more stuff by W & Whale, nothing showed up on Google, OST’s have the best music in my opinion because there is variety. Even if I like a group hearing them in every song gets tiring, but not when it comes to Nell, Loveholic, or Classiquai though…

A stupid question now: I just moved my blog to wordpress and I was wondering, to get music on the site did you have to upgrade? I’m having difficulty doing that without an upgrade, so though I’d ask.

Thanks for the compliment! And for music playing, one way to host music is to buy the upgrade, but you don’t have to — use of the music player function is entirely free (the upgrade would just be to buy space to upload the file). The tutorial here gives you alternatives to free file hosting, which I haven’t tried but sounds like it could be an option.

first, thank you so much for all of your updates and summaries and music… your summaries just blow me away in your observations (que sera sera) and your humor (witch amusement). your posts are a highlight of my day. plus… YAY QUE SERA SERA!! haha.
anyways… i actually wanted to ask you for some advice. i am a korean adoptee currently trying to reconnect (somehow?) with korea and the language. i am dipping my pinky toe in the waters by checking out the dramas and the music (music is my life). it seems like we have similar tastes… i was wondering if you had any recommendations about which “my aunt mary” album to buy first? or any recommendations at all? also, if i did something wrong here i am so sorry, i really am not familiar with how these blog things work =P

concrete girl, i’d recommend their fourth album DRIFT, and if you like that, try the others. it’s a great album.
if you’re dipping your feet into kpop waters, and you like groups like my aunt mary more than the general flashy pop stuff, you MUST try clazziquai, then loveholic. i love epik high too.

Quick question…I really like Lee Seung Yul, first heard him on the OST of …Ing and One Fine Day and then I’m obsessed with ???…but I can’t seem to find much information on him (I keep getting directed to Lee Seung Chul’s music instead!)…does he have an album or just singles?? just wanted to say thank you for giving me a source to hear music that i’ve never known about. i accidentally came upon your thread a couple of months ago, and was sooo thrilled about the drama summaries. however, the music caught my attention as well, and you have a really unique and non-mainstream-like music taste so i really like it. i love the music you post…well, the majority. you’ve allowed me to find groups like F.T. Island, VEIL, House Rulez, K.Will (who i love now), and most importantly, My Aunt Mary. also, you’ve helped me keep track of groups i’ve listened to before but forgot about like Clazziquai (who are geniuses when it comes to music) and As One. thank you sooo much…you are awesome for that. They’re not exactly like House Rulez or Clazziquai, but you could try out Nouvelle Vague, Bebel Gilberto, Feist, Frou Frou, Basement Jaxx… I’ve yet to find a group as infectious and upbeat as House Rulez, though, which is too bad since they’re awesome. Western electronica tends to be more down-tempo and trip-hop though, and the faster, upbeat music tends to be more trance (which I don’t love — stuff without melodies that are for zoning out).
