Is there more stuff by W & Whale, nothing showed up on Google, OST’s have the best music in my opinion because there is variety. Even if I like a group hearing them in every song gets tiring, but not when it comes to Nell, Loveholic, or Classiquai though…

Thanks for the compliment! And for music playing, one way to host music is to buy the upgrade, but you don’t have to — use of the music player function is entirely free (the upgrade would just be to buy space to upload the file). The tutorial here gives you alternatives to free file hosting, which I haven’t tried but sounds like it could be an option.

concrete girl, i’d recommend their fourth album DRIFT, and if you like that, try the others. it’s a great album.
if you’re dipping your feet into kpop waters, and you like groups like my aunt mary more than the general flashy pop stuff, you MUST try clazziquai, then loveholic. i love epik high too.

They’re not exactly like House Rulez or Clazziquai, but you could try out Nouvelle Vague, Bebel Gilberto, Feist, Frou Frou, Basement Jaxx… I’ve yet to find a group as infectious and upbeat as House Rulez, though, which is too bad since they’re awesome. Western electronica tends to be more down-tempo and trip-hop though, and the faster, upbeat music tends to be more trance (which I don’t love — stuff without melodies that are for zoning out).
hey um whenever i save songs by rightclicking and saving..after a period of time the files disappear.. why does that happen?
#41, I have no idea. Er? Does anyone else have that experience? I have no clue why that would be happening. The files aren’t locked or anything. (Hm. Are you clicking the song link — with an mp3 extension — and not the post link on this page? This page only links to the post where the mp3 link is listed. I realize this is a bit roundabout, but I’ve explained my reasons above.)
I noticed on my pc, I have to left click FIRST then click save to download… hope this helps those with issues….

This is a great list of songs. I’ve often heard snippets of songs, used as background music, without knowing the name of the song. And, it’s a double-whammy if the song is in Korean. I have no hopes whatsoever of identifying it. So, this is great.
By the way, in episode of 3 of Coffee Prince, you may want to consider including “Never on Sunday”. I’m pretty sure that’s what Manager Hong whistled in reaction to HG insisting on hiring EC as one of the “princes”. This was immediately after EC had begged Manager Hong not to tell HG that she was a girl because she really needed the job.

I need the lyric of song that Han Song sang to Yu Ju over the telephone in the first episodes of Coffee Prince. i’m not so sure about the title some thing like Ocean…..but it sure like it his real voice.
giantgra, the song is 바다여행 (ocean voyage) by Tearliner, on the OST. (It is the actor’s real singing voice; the OST has the track sung by the original singer, as well as the version with Lee Seon Kyun.) Sorry, I don’t have the lyrics, but I bet a quick search will turn some up.

Looks like you’ve been away from your blog here. I thought I’d ask about this Artist-Miya who’s song was in the Hello Miss soundstrack. I am not from Korea but another Asian country which gets korean drama film series late, much later than any other country I think.

Thanks for all the comments, everyone. To answer some questions, generally I put up songs to accompany posts, so I’m not in the habit of posting up whole OSTs (or whole albums). There are download sites that do that much better; I just aim to share various songs I like. That said, if you leave your email addresses, i’m more apt to email you if I have the stuff you’re looking for.

Could you provide the music from the kdrama The Secret Lovers? In episode 1, either part 2 or 3, there is a song (by a Korean vocalist) that is played while the actor is getting ready to wear the suit that he just purchased from a man in a van. It’s the very next song after ‘Rain Drops Keep Falling On My Head’ which is sung by an American singer. Whoever the vocalist/group that’s performing this rap like song is really crankin’ this tune.
