Beanie level: Eunuch in drag

Anyone else confused by Sketch? If she’s never stopped anything happening in her drawings, then it gives the show a bit of futility for the viewer. Also, why the prosecutor? She’d stop more crimes.

Wow, it took forever, but I finally leveled up! Which noble idiot would you like to be?

Congrats and high-five from a fellow noble idiot! To be honest, I have no idea which one to pick cos’ dramaland has gazillions. But since I’ve caught the Waikiki fever, I pick the top idiot of the lot, Lee Jun-ki, who is not all that noble yet very much an adorkable idiot who sometimes does the right thing in the end 😀

I tried that and it looked cute, but the second-hand embarrassment was too much for me.

I think the Just Between Lovers pair is my most recent favorite. With all the trauma they suffered, their actions made the most sense even when I was going “no!!!”. Son Oh Gong’s moment of realizing he could take off his bracelet was my favorite noble idiot moment (what a well done moment!!), but we all know how bad that ended.

https://www.soompi.com/2018/02/24/quiz-can-guess-2017-k-drama-based-screenshot/ This was a fun little quiz. Although I didn’t get as many right as I would have liked–too picky a watcher now, I guess.

Ah, that was the cutest fluff fest ever. (And who would have though INAR would all be subbed by tonight?)

Right now the best of the four seems to be the adulterous husband…File:Return (Korean Drama)-P1.jpg

I just watched Erased on Netflix, and it was super good! The plot is so interesting! The best part is when they are all kids.

Me too! I loved the kids more than the adults. The story was ok for me but the cinematography was gorgeous

So glad! But Drama makers: slow down. We don\’t need dramas at the expense of dire accidents or suicides. https://www.soompi.com/2018/01/04/hwayugi-resume-normal-broadcast-schedule-week/

IANAR: so good! The two leads realized why the relationship was dysfunctional, they had face to face honest closure, and the sadness was offset by the male lead’s social healing (on his own!)

This is so good. I wish this were getting more love. The actors are so good, and it’s hitting all my sweet spots. I’m sure it’s going to wring my heart out later.

It’s getting ALL the love from us Beanies!

When something I love is popular here I forget about the ratings, to be honest.

What sucks is when you love something with poor ratings and no love on DB. 😅

It’s getting love from me and my kids. I like the actors too.

JBL might received poor ratings but at least not in Dramabeans! I’m totally loving it

I explained I\’m Not a Robot to my sister\’s kids, whom I\’ve visiting. Suddenly, while traveling somewhere, my nephew, said, \”Hey, but isn\’t he allergic to himself?\” #metaquestions

Ah, I’m Not a Robot, you’re pretty cute.

ahhhhh, yes, they’re too cute. My screen lights up everytime these two are together

Double ear infection and weeks of dizziness. I\’ve watched everything I can think of. I need some under the radar good dramas. Suggestions? (I\’ve seen pretty much every big hit/big star drama)

No big stars but a good watch – Girls Generation 1979 and Solomon’s Perjury? Rookie actors largely.
Sorry to hear about the illness. Hope you get well soon!

Aw, that sucks, I hope you feel better soon!

These are some of the dramas I don’t see mentioned a lot, but I really liked all of them. They’re pretty different in tone and genre, so I hope you find something among them to save you from boredom ^^
    – Heart to Heart, meloromance
    – The Lover (if you don’t mind more bold humor), romcom/slice-of-life
    – Task Force 38 (not sure if this counts as a big star one or not?), crime
    – Ex-Girlfriend Club, romcom
    – Ho Gu’s Love (/Fool’s Love), *have no idea what genre to put this in tbh*
    – Modern Farmer (if you don’t mind more lowbrow humor), romcom
    – Pied Piper, crime
    – The Good Wife, drama
    – Webdramas We Broke Up (romance) and The Flatterer (comedy)

Also another way to go might be variety shows?

I hate first episodes. And it\’s that time in the drama cycle where you have to watch a lot of them.

I don\’t know how I feel about Ji-ho\’s \”trip\”, but I do love the idea of redefining marriage as a modern form right for the couple. Also the closing wish of sincerity to the viewers was amazing.

As someone from a traditional religious background, I came away with the thought that I also need to redefine what marriage means to me.

You know… I felt that the narrations in this episode were a little bland, but that closing remark was heartfelt and JSM’s delivery was crazy good, I almost teared up.

Was the fact that the DB store BF banner looks like the Subway logo on purpose? I would love it if it is. Certainly Subway advertising makes me think of K-dramas.

Oh BTLIMFL, you broke my heart and wrung it out. Lots of good punches and really sad realizations.

I began to realize Se Hee in BTLIMFL was actually quite perceptive after seeing him take care of his CEO\’s emotions and love life so carefully. This week confirmed that. Logical and perceptive. Hot.
