Since they made the second lead oh so perfect (oh well, not that it’s a new thing) viewers will be needing a solid presentation of Ban-do’s love for Jin-joo in a different level. Like okay, we’ve seen how hard he’s working his ass off to provide for his family in the ‘present’ timeline and all but other than that, what else? He’s not even the biggest fan of his wife and there are a lot of scenes showing how he took her for granted and took away her wings. When they’re back in 1999 timeline it only shows how immature he is and his priorities is such a mess. They need to show us not only how deep is his love for his wife but how he will grab this opportunity to be a better person (career-wise) to give a better life for Jin-joo and Seo-jin in the future/present because up until the latest episode we’ve been seen nothing from him than enjoying his time with his first love and friends, getting jealous or rather territorial towards Jin-joo, degrading his wife and a few minutes of remembering Seo-jin and his in-laws. But hey, I love all the characters and I firmly believe there’s no way that they are not getting back together (Nam-gil oppa I’m here for you! HAHA!) but I just want a great execution out of it.
I’m just so in love with this show that things keeps running on my mind. Another hella week of waiting for another dose of this great drama!
y’know i kinda dislike writer make any second lead is like the perfect man. perfect feature, softy with female lead, and sobs family story added with it. then you make the male lead, the worst among the worst that even retribution and ‘love conquers all’ notion will not make people like him. i mean, he’s the male lead for god sake. at least make him at the same level with second lead.
this is why i love WYWS, i guess. Jung Hae In really handsome, softy with female lead, and have a big secret, but the male lead also standing on the level with him. reading some beanies here cursing male lead for GBS make me grateful that at least some kdrama writer has learn to avoid that cliche where male lead is douche and second lead is the holy great man that will never get the girl.
Oh yeah, perfect example! They really need to start doing more of that because at some point it gets tiring feeling bad for the second lead all the time.
Exactly my thoughts. Like why is this 38-year old guy acting like a teenager? He did go back to a younger him but he should still be an ahjusshi right? But I am looking forward to how the show will make me want to root for Ban Do. I’m really loving this drama so I hope Show won’t disappoint story-wise. Because I think it certainly wont eye candy-wise 😂

Yes again, please please please show give us a reason to root for Ban Do because we need that. Another yes!
