Question. Just finished ep 4 of Prison Playbook (LOVING IT). Can someone please tell me if an explanation is given at some point as to why Je Hyuk and Jun Ho parted ways? I’M DYING TO KNOW. TIA 😊

    This is so late, but I guess life happened and they just went to their separate career path. Iirc, it happened after the accident that killed their coach. Maybe meeting each other would reminded them of those bittersweet memories. And also, Jun-ho gave up his sport career and did several different things afterwards. I guess it’s natural that they didn’t meet each other anymore. I also remember him telling Je-hee that he was somewhat jealous by how determined Je-hyuk was to continue his baseball career, which might be one of the reason he avoided Je-hyuk after that.

      I knoww me too. I watched it like fifty times to figure it out (I’m not complaining because his face is beautiful to look at 😅) I think it’s the latter though. His smile fades away at the end – so he’s clearly hurt a little. I mean he was SUPER excited about the Jajangmyung plate he brought for WS. He definitely has some feelings for her.

            When we hear about the premise and the plot of the drama, it sounds very k-drama typical with the terminal illness trope and all, but who would have thought that “Marriage Contract” is a drama about hope and life instead of death and dying?? 🙂
