I don’t understand show ratings. How can the first half get 8% and the second half 11%? Do the extra 3% people just start watching the second half and not care about what happened in the first half?
That might be exactly it, especially now when, for most dramas, one 1-hour episode is actually split into two ~ 35-minute episodes, and people tune in after the commercial break after the first half hour, and then just watch the reruns (if there are any) when it comes on, to get up to speed with the first half of the episode
