I BET UVE MISSED MY LONG POSTS JK

so far i’ve enjoyed everything. all the stories and the writing. i’m pretty impressed. what sticks out most to me, though, is how human they are! and the complex but simple writing. i find that dramas tend to want to do an “all sides.”

it’s not so much about morality and writing (imo) but if you want to show your societal perspective you have to be realistic…and more often than not things are skewed one way instead of the other. and that’s towards the marginalized. trying to prove that men sexually abuse women, yet they are still abused, isn’t helping our general cause because we think that there’s some sort of equal playing field with no power structures….

i DO, unfortunately, have a problem with cha because i don’t think she’s being the best she can be. she’s competent, but her attitude is abhorrent and i really resent the things she’s said and the decisions she’s made. i think because jung ryeo won is actually a really good actress but some of her choices are these women that can truly be the worst. i don’t think she can play a type that’s to the letter, or fierce, in a position that takes morality. instead of being thoughtful (im thinking of running mates and lee yo won’s character) it’s this really suffocating woman.

i think i’d be ok with her if her choices hadnt lead to a murder and a woman starving herself. that REALLY pisses me off. and she cant take responsibility. and the funny thing is on the bullying case i totally agreed with her! but the way she delivered it. and in ep 8? LOL. she can’t see how the way women are treated in the workplace is directly related to why the date rape case was rejected. so when will she grow up???? it’s a testament when i prefer all the men over a particular woman, but i know im finnicky about that.

i think writers want to show that women can be cold as well (i’ve said this before.) the reason why it works for men is because i have automatically written them off for that, it is your job to now show me why i should like this person BECAUSE that’s a part of patriarchy. why have a woman be unbearable and insensitive in a field that desperately needs sensitivity? just because you’re tired and worn down, doesn’t mean you can’t understand people. right now that’s what’s wrong with her..

i know some people will think it’s over the top but this is just a fraction of how we’re treated in the world. being a stay at home mom is unpaid labor. being a working mom and having to do work a woman must do in society (“must”) is unpaid labor. and we get no support. we get the low birth rates in SK but needing women to reproduce AND a booming economy. it’s so skewed against gender and sexual minorities and i hate that women must APOLOGIZE for saying so, or pointing it out. hell no!

    BETTER CONDITIONS FOR MOTHERS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Soooooo Amaraaaaaaa….
Nice to have you back, i love war of prosecutors and i agree with you, watching her is like a chore but i loved her thoroughly in ep 5 and 7. I know a lot of women who are like her and i told my mom that for them i feel like saying, if you don’t see the problem, then you a part of the problem.

I am also watching Crash landing on You and the Black dog.

(Keep expectations super low on crash landing if you wanna watch, i enjoy it a lot)

    Black dog
(It is a good drama, i am a bit behind but i still wondering when will they comment on what is really more important than grades… and will they teach students some sense rather than making them just run a rat race…)
