the thing about social commentary that thinks we can reframe within in a capitalist lens is that it just has NO IMAGINATION! none! the human mind is SO EXPANSIVE, we can create anything
nothing perfect exists, but if you propel towards a world in a fictional setting you can do ANYTHING FUCKING ANYTHING and that’s the beauty of film and television! we can push life as far as we can go! we can explore every avenue! and we can make up bullshit or what things would look like in a world that we would want! why wouldnt writers want the most ultimate gift?? and that’s what i wish more of thse writers would do. recognize that anything is possible with their pen!!!!!!!!
it’s akin to when we make aliens human-like. ok, not exactly. but animals are human-like if they are anthropomorphic, and like avatar (film) they are humans in blue skin, even in that one water movie by GDT, the fish monster had a fucking penis…like….come on LMAO we can create whole worlds man. so outside of our imaginations and we cant even restructure our minds eye when theory exists for it?????? wild!
